I agree that the people who saved the Jews were brave but I think that other countries and more people should have done something when they knew about all that was going on. They chose not to do anything about it and let many Jews die. In response to: Many people risked their lives to save the jews. People who did this were very brave and courageous. The most famous rescue attempt was located in Denmark. The Danish authorities were told that the Germans were going to round up all the jews in the Denmark. The Danish people organized an escape route for jews in Denmark. They ferried over 7,200 people to the nuetral country, Sweden. Many other rescue efforts were tried. Lots of churches, orphanages, and families provided hiding spots for jews. Although some were rescued from this disaster, most of the jews were sent to the concentration camps. I am suprised that people found out about the Germans and the jews and acted against it for the sake of the jews.
